Lab: Hugel 323
Office: Hugel 330
Dr. Thévenin received her B.S. degree in Biomedical Science (with English Minor) from the University of Lynchburg and completed her Ph.D. work in Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Delaware with Dr. Roberta Colman and Dr. Brian Bahnson. She did her postdoctoral training with Dr. Benjamin Turk at Yale Medical School (Pharmacology), and later, with Dr. Matthias Falk (Lehigh University Biological Sciences). Dr. Thévenin has been obsessed with protein-protein interactions, cell signaling, and phosphorylation since her undergrad days in Lynchburg. She was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biology at Lafayette College in 2015-2016, a tenure-track faculty and an eventually, an Associate Professor at Moravian University (2016-2025). She recently moved her lab to the Chemistry Department at Lafayette College (Summer 2025). She has taught Survey of Biochemistry, Biochemistry II, Cell and Molecular Biology, Molecular Genetics, First Year Writing Seminar, General Chemistry Labs, Introductory Biology, Cell Signaling, Cancer Biology, and graduate level courses in Biochemistry and Cell Biology.
