There will be a discussion on Summer Medical and Dental Education Programs hosted by the Health Professions Program this Wednesday, Nov. 13th at 12pm in Kunkel 117. If you’d like to attend, register by Monday, November 11th. Below is their email with the registration link:
Dear HP students,
Please join us for a lunch presentation on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 in 117 Kunkel.
At this presentation, Aubrey Jones ‘16 and Barbara Olivier ‘16 will discuss the benefits and experiences associated with Summer Medical and Dental Education Programs (SMDEP) of which we often inform you.
Aubrey attended the SMDEP at the University of Virginia and Barbara was at the University of Washington.
They will show videos and pictures from both of programs. They both had wonderful, yet different experiences. In their discussion they will also talk about the mentorship provided and friendships formed, how the programs may prepare you for matriculation to a health professions school, etc.
