Queer Archives Project
The Queer Archives Project at Lafayette College is a collaborative, interdisciplinary initiative designed to illuminate Lafayette’s Queer history, advance teaching, learning and research in the area of Queer Studies, and promote positive institutional transformation. Pride Association for Leadership and Mentoring (PALM)
PALM matches LGBT+ faculty and staff to students by survey, placing them in groups we call families. Each family will consist of six mentees (at most) and one to two mentors (depending on the number of mentees). Our goal is to establish a network of mentors and peers and to create relationships mentees can lean on.
Safe Zone Training
In order to help LGBTQ+ identified students, faculty, and staff navigate these experiences and find support or allies, Lafayette College provides Safe Zone Trainings. Safe Zone Trainings are opportunities to learn about LGBTQ+ identities, gender, and sexuality, allyship, and examine prejudice, assumptions, and privilege.
