Ben Twining’s presentation concentrated mainly on the importance of metal quotas to ocean biogeochemistry, the use of Synchrotron x-ray fluorescence microscopy in his study of plankton, and the plankton conditions at the Southern Ocean, Equatorial Pacific Ocean, and Sargasso Sea.
