- Program Overview: The Easton Emergency Squad Uber Transportation Program allows
students at Lafayette College to go down to the Easton Emergency Squad Station for free in an
Uber. It works by a student requesting a voucher code which contains money received by an
email. They can claim it in their Uber account and use it to take a ride down to the station paid
for by the club’s semesterly budget. We hope this program motivates students to go to the station
down more often by giving them another option of transportation. Guidelines and rules are listed
below including instructions on how to receive a voucher code. This program will be monitored
by the club’s Treasurer and President of EES Relations. In order to receive a voucher code you
must adhere to the rules and have completed all paperwork.
- How to Request a Voucher Code:
Please fill out the form below that will include all of the information needed to request a voucher
code. Please refer to the rules for other important information and possible answers to questions
you might have.

- Rules for Requesting a Voucher Code
I. In order to be able to receive a voucher code you must have completed all of the
necessary prior paperwork. No EMR, EMT, BLS, etc. licenses/certifications are needed
to request a voucher. We welcome anyone down at the station.
II. We highly recommend that you request the code/fill out the form one week prior to your
scheduled shift date. If not, it is required to do it by the Sunday before 8:00 pm before the
week of your scheduled shift. Your request will not be considered unless submitted
through the allotted time. The form will be checked around 8:00 pm every Sunday and
will be sending voucher codes accordingly starting the Sunday after our first meeting of
the semester.
III. If something were to happen in between the time of requesting the voucher code and your
scheduled shift so that you could no longer go to the station please contact the Treasurer - of the Club immediately. We totally understand that things come up last minute but we
- just want to make sure that we are kept up to date with everything.IV. When filling out the form,
- we completely understand that sometimes your expected finish
time for your shift may fluctuate. Please just fill it out with your expected end time.
V. You may request multiple vouchers for the same week. If this is the case, please fill out
different forms for each of the different shifts and please indicate in the Request Form
that there are multiple shifts/vouchers being requested in the appropriate form section.
Choosing A Ride: The Club will only fund up to $25 for one trip to and from the station. It is
HIGHLY recommended that you choose the UberX option when choosing a ride as it ensures
enough funds to get you over there. - Tips/Gratuity: Tips will not be funded by the budget given to the club. Tips will be at the
volunteers discretion and no record of it will be kept or shared. If you are in need of financial aid
with giving gratuity please contact the Treasurer or any Officer of the Club. - Transportation Record: Every trip you take will be recorded with the following information:
Your Name, Class Year, Date Requested, Date and Time of Trip, and how much was given with
the voucher. No personal or private information will be recorded including financial information,
gratuity, and driver details (we can’t look at that). - *Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. We would love to help! You may
contact any Exec Board member with any inquiries and we will do our best to get back to you as
soon as possible.
