I really enjoyed your slidecast. I learned a lot and do not have much to say critically. I appreciated your chronological history of video games in virtual worlds. I never knew some of those devices existed. I would have been really intrigued, however, if you had highlighted major differences in the technologies being used presently and ones used previously. You do go into it a bit, but I guess I didn’t feel like I had a firm grasp of it by the end of your presentation.

Also, your progress question slide was the one I was waiting for the whole presentation, and once it came up, I was excited to hear your take on the ideals intrinsic to this technology. However, all you said was “this might be progress”. This disappointed me somewhat. It would’ve been nice to hear about the differing social interaction that comes with virtual reality compared with other video games, or even how people would interact in virtual worlds. It was something I was very curious about, and I feel that the presentation fell short in this regard.

Even do, I was intrigued by the practical uses for VR in warfare, so kudos for that. In addition, your presentation quality was top-notch!

Your report is extremely well done. Your chronological history, as well as the in depth information kept me intrigued throughout the entire slidecast. The video game history was a cool introduction into the topic, but it was even cooler how you moved on to virtual reality in real life, like its use in tanks. I had no idea Nintendo had already attempted to make a virtual reality video console before this report.

Just like on the last slidecast report, I thoroughly enjoyed watching yours. I learned a lot in viewing it. Even if I tried, I do not believe I could come up with an area of your slidecast to critique. Your use of small word descriptions as well as images really tied together nicely. You have done an excellent job on this report and I am very glad I was told to watch yours. I wish I had more to say on your report to give you more feedback, but I have nothing. Well done!
