Good slidecast overall. I only have a few comments. First off, the audio quality was definitely less than stellar, but you paced the narration well. Second, I learned a lot about the absence of a substantial foundational technology in the implementation of an infrastructure of a technology. It came off very fact-based. I would’ve liked to hear your own opinions on the issue. The presentation itself flowed well and I followed it. However, it lacked a spark to catch my attention. I can tell you did your research, the facts contributed to your project as a whole and were interesting. In addition, the pictures you used definitely matched up with your dialogue and helped me follow the discussion well.

This was a very informative slidecast and did a great job connecting the theme of electric cars to its historical context and relevance to the present and future. It was interesting to hear the different reasons why electric cars emerged as a technology at three different time periods throughout its history, in the late 1800s because efficiency was the dominating theme of the Industrial Revolution, then again in the 1970s because of the Oil Crisis, and the price of oil was the driving motivation for developing electric cars, and finally in the mid-1990s and the present day, environmentalism is a popular movement and people want to reduce their Greenhouse Gas emissions. I liked your discussion of progress, namely, is it a good or bad thing that electric cars are so quiet? Good job addressing progress for whom and progress towards what! An increase in the quality of your recorded audio would correlate to a more easily hearable slidecast.
