I thought your piece was really interesting. I like how you used multiple futuristic pictures in your project and explained them. I found that the works did fit what your theme was although I wondered what things like twelve walls instead of four walls for a house had to do with time. Afterwards I had to go back and re-read your initial slide. I would recommend making a title that is less ambiguous. I initially read confines of the times as: this slide cast will be all about how progress is defined in relation to time- as in speed at which tasks get done. Speaking of time I would also recommend you hit the 6:20 time hack because you were almost a full minute over. That can partially be done by reading through the whole script at once so you don’t have gaps between your speech. Overall I did find your work fascinating and I liked your way of defining progress or rather not defining progress- probably my favorite part.

Your report was very informative. You were able to touch on the key points we have discussed in class so far this semester. I like how you were able to make your key points while keeping the report simple. I really enjoyed the layout of your report. The background you chose was not gaudy or flashy, which allowed me as the listener to focus on the images in your slidecast and listen to what you had to say about them. One point I would have liked to see you mention in your report is the change of ideas from more being progress to in today’s computer age, less is progress. In the slide where you talked about smart phones it would have been nice if you commented on how society wants things to do more while still getting smaller in size. Either way your report was extremely well done and very informative. I enjoyed listening to it.
