  1. The lighting is very good, gives an ambient feel to the interview. I felt that the interview was fluid; there were very few cuts in the video and going from one clip to another was natural. Good b-roll of the food and packages, and I liked the variety of shots. Shots such as the behind the back of Mrs. Dias when she was pressing down on the box.
Things I might change would be having slightly less time in the beginning where she didn’t speak and maybe asking her an additional question about how people can help her with the food drive or when will she bring the next supply of care packages to Puerto Rico.

  2. Is this your Mom, Annie?! She’s so cute! I love what she is doing. The viewer can see how she has taken the devastation to heart because it is something she has experienced. I would have liked to hear her talk more about what she has been through so I have more knowledge of Puerto Rico and so I can connect with her story more. Also, I was interested to know how she began helping, what church or organization she is working with in order to get these packages there.

Your filming and the lighting was on point! You’re a great cinematographer! The audio was really great too! The transitions from shot to shot were smooth, not jarring or disorienting in anyway. I like that in the introduction you don’t quite know who she is yet, but you see what she is doing with all the products for the care package (even though you don’t know it’s for a care package yet) and you begin the wonder. At first I thought she was unloading groceries, but then she clears that right up when she begins to speak. That’s a compelling way to begin because in reflecting upon that, I made connections about the security she has now not being effected by the hurricane and the understanding of the severity of the issue which she experienced first-hand. She is able to go out and buy groceries, something people living in Puerto Rico can’t do because there aren’t even grocery stores they can go to. It shows just how important her care packages are. <3
