First off, I appreciated the background music. My family group up in the Bronx, New York so i definitely felt that “city feel” when I was watching this. I feel like that was what you were going for when you chose that since your film is about something in Center City of Allentown.
Also, there was the shot of the phone and the WiFi access that I really liked. Not only did you get the WiFi access but you originally tried it without the WiFi so I could easily follow what was happening; there was a little timeline. I am interested to see how this one turns out.
I appreciate you leaving a comment on our submission. You picked up a lot of the things we tried to communicate through our B-roll. Our job going forward will be to use interviews and additional B-roll footage to communicate more accurately the importance that public wifi plays in the lives of so many of Allentown’s citizens.
Great music! It adds a hip city feel to the B-roll. I was hoping to see more shots of the inside of the thrift store. Other than that, I appreciate all the establishing shots of the city, the streets, the people walking on the crosswalk, the person connecting to the wi-fi, and all the art in the city. Showing all the people walking in the area adds a lot of life to the city which is very important.
