- Moodle Update: Summer, Fall 2008 courses created
- All of the Summer and Fall courses have been created in Moodle and are accessible to faculty. Student enrollments for Summer Term 1 are complete; enrollments for Fall 2008 will be done two weeks before the start of the semester.
- Moodle 1.9 Work Begins
- Starting to learn the ins and outs of Moodle 1.9. Anticipate an upgrade sometime in July.
- New Student CDs ship in late-May
- CDs should be going to first year students around May 21. It’ll include everything you need to know to get started with tech at Lafayette, including that all important Lafayette email address/network ID.
- Domain change — coming next year (we hope) to the rest of you.

- Google Reader Adds Shared Notes, Non-Feed Page Capture
- Google Reader now lets you add notes or external web pages to your “shared” page. This is a nice workaround for those who want to use Google Reader to generate their feeds (say for a class) but need to add the occasional note or non-feed item to the share.
