I am an associate professor in the Department of Government & Law at Lafayette College and an affiliate of the Center for Effective Lawmaking.
My primary research is on American public policy and political institutions. Most of my work explores the impact of American party factions in the U.S. House, but I also have a number of ongoing co-authored projects (see C.V.). I teach courses on the U.S. government, quantitative methods, and American politics. I am also founder and co-director of a non-partisan, research group on campus: the Lafayette College Gov Lab,
