Dogs of Lafayette was inspired by the Dogs of Brooklyn and Humans of New York projects. The photos and interviews are created by students in The Dog Course (FYS 77), a First-Year Seminar at Lafayette College that examines social constructions of dogs human-dog relationships. The human-dog relationships profiled in this project are based on interviews with members of the Lafayette faculty and staff. Many thanks to everyone who has participated in the interviews.
