Dogs of Lafayette was inspired by the Dogs of Brooklyn and Humans of New York projects.  The photos and interviews are created by students in The Dog Course (FYS 77), a First-Year Seminar at Lafayette College that examines social constructions of dogs human-dog relationships.  The human-dog relationships profiled in this project are based on interviews with members of the Lafayette faculty and staff.  Many thanks to everyone who has participated in the interviews.  Additional thanks to Jason Alley (ITS) and Todd Walton (ITS) for their help with Audacity and WordPress, and to the Technology and Library Committee for awarding me a Teaching with Technology Grant.
