Height: 4-8 feet
Maintenance: Mow or burn once a year in early spring before new growth begins. If you miss this chance, do not do either once new growth has reached a foot in height, as this could damage the plants.

3. Lower prairie states such as Colorado, Nebraska, and upper part of Texas can use buffalograss (Buchloe dactyloides).
