In addition to the material covered in the course syllabus, students will need to attend a series of talks from different departments. There will be three talks through out the semester. The talks will be focused on the interaction each of the fields has with technology and how it has influenced the field. One of the topics covered will be how 3D printing has altered each of the fields and how each of the fields have influenced the development and the future of additive manufacturing.
