This is so true. Being from Los Angeles, I know all too well the effort that it takes to live up to sustainable standards, and such things as not asking for a refill of water if you really aren’t thirsty, is just one of a number of things that I’ve come to expect of myself and others while dining out. Sure, sparing the planet a glass or two of water every time I go out might not make a big difference in the long run, but if everyone contributes, every little bit helps.
