Russian Club was created to expand the opportunities of Lafayette students to learn about Russian and Slavic culture beyond the classroom. We plan various on- and off-campus events to accomplish this, along with building ties between Lafayette and Lafayette students on the one hand and Russian and Slavic communities on the other. Through this we aim to increase awareness and understanding of Russian and Slavic cultures on the Lafayette campus.

Any student is welcome to join Russian Club. No prior knowledge of Slavic culture or of the Russian language is required.

We hold frequent meetings throughout the year to invite new members to join, receive feedback and ideas for events, and inform Russian Club members of upcoming events (both those sponsored by Russian Club and other events relating to Russian/Slavic culture).
