Welcome to the Photography Club website new for the Spring Semester 2013! The photography club has lots of exciting activities going on this semester. We’re always looking for new members that are excited about photography and want to spend time taking pictures and discussing photography topics! Check out the news below to see what we are up to:
Thanks to all who submitted photos to our campus-wide photo contest! All of the submissions can now be viewed, and are open to a campus-wide vote. Head over to the Gilbert’s Photography Contest tab in the menu bar to take the survey and rank your top three favorite photos. When making your decision, remember to keep in mind that the three winning photos will be framed and hung in Gilbert’s Café, so vote based on which ones you would most like to see there! As of now, the photos are anonymous, but all names will be revealed/photographers credited after voting closes on April 13th, 2013.
Lafayette Photo Club is happy to announce the 2013 Gilberts Photo Contest. Each Lafayette Student, Faculty, or Staff member can submit up to 2 photos. Photos can be any theme but must be suitable for all ages. Submissions are due by 11:59 PM on Saturday March 23rd 2013. Voting will occur via campus-wide poll shortly after all submissions are received. Top 3 photos will be professionally printed and hung in the center room of Gilbert’s Café! Submissions are being accepted over on the submissions page!
