Mud pots, and hot springs, and waterfalls, oh my

A quick update from Yellowstone while I have a pocket of cell coverage. Had a private tour guide today which was a great way to see the park. Took a cool hike snd saw some seriously large bear tracks.

Saw lots of wildlife like bison, osprey, elk, ravens and more. off to another campsite tomorrow. Hard to believe we only have three days left.

Andy tapped into his boy scout skills to build our campfire last night.

I would recommend this kind of trip to anyone!

  1. GORGEOUS pic!!! And Andy is representing Lafayette in the wilderness 🙂 Makes me smile that you are all having a fantastic experience…even though your fellow East Coast-ers miss you muchly

  2. BREATHTAKING photos, Rachel! Enjoy the last few days of your fantastic trip – can’t wait to hear more details when you get back!!

  3. Beautiful pictures, Rachel! And listen to you . . . “seriously large bear tracks”! Dwight will be so proud! 🙂

  4. Rachel – The pictures and your descriptions of this trip have been inspiring, but are you really saying that “Long Island Girl” is recommending a camping vacation to her friends??? How can this be? What’s next, throwing away your cellphone and your bling?
