Aaron Tupper
Public Relations Chair

Hailing from Cape May NJ, Aaron enjoys short walks on the beach, splashing in a pool with gusto, and playing the same ten songs on his guitar. Aaron is part of the Tracking Team subgroup, where he worked on the tracking software, and the control system, and integrated them into the robot. He is also one of the team's Public Relations Chairs, he is especially talented at writing emails and short blurbs, like this one!

Jed Alterman
Website Administrator

Jed is a native of the DC metro area and has a variety of interests related to all facets of mechanical engineering design. Outside of the classroom, he loves to cook (and eat), play yard games (like the washed-up athlete he is), and explore, whether that be in a kayak or on land. Jed is also part of the Structure Team subgroup, where he used his knowledge of CAD, 3-D modeling, and manufacturing, to develop key parts of our prototype.

Sebastian Wallach
Budget Manager

An upstate NY native, Sebastian Wallach uprooted for college and soon settled into the burbs of PA and is loving it.  In his free time he can be found riding bikes, fly fishing, and enjoying YouTube videos by Stuff Made Here. Sebastian is also part of the Structure Team subgroup, where he designed the motorbase and integrated the motors and wheels to a chain system. If you’ve got a good idea, Sebastian can definitely find a way to make it more complicated, but that's what engineering is all about.

Michael Aronson
Research and Literature Chair

A product of one of the nation's most mediocre states Michael comes from Farmington Connecticut. In his free time, he spends time taking photographs of wildlife and reaching things on the top shelf. Michael is part of the Tracking Team subgroup, where he designed the control system for the robot to be able to track the user autonomously. This skill is serving him well as one of the team's research and literature chairs. He does enjoy the occasional fun and social event.

Ryan Jochims
Team Co-Leader

From Pittsburgh born and raised, Ryan Jochims is a senior Mechanical Engineering major. He enjoys anything outdoors including but not limited to: biking, hiking, photography, fishing, camping, skiing, and off-roading. Ryan is also part of the Structure Team subgroup, where he CAD modeled and machined the frame of the robot. He brings years of leadership experience to the team and alongside fellow team co-leader Fayth he is excited to work with his team to complete their project goals.

Henry Price
Website Administrator

Traveling all the way from the least sunny area of the sunny state of California, Henry is an avid fan of anything sports, loves carving snow on skis or a snowboard, and is fascinated by mythology and art. Henry is part of the Electrical Team subgroup, where he developed the control system for the button panel as well as integrated many electrical components together. As one of the Website Administrators, he is excited to design a fluid and concise digital experience for key stakeholders of Safer Strides.

Timothy Lee
Safety Chair

Timothy originates from Westchester, New York, and currently resides near Jacksonville, Florida. With friends, he loves to watch sports, play golf and tennis, and enjoy new music. He is especially invested in collecting rare sports cards and his collection continues to grow. Tim is also part of the Electrical Team subgroup, where he integrated the batteries, MOSFET, and electrical components to work smoothly. As a Safety Chair, he hopes the construction of the prototypes will be done in a safe and responsible manner!

Benjamin Wenger
Safety Chair

Ben is the first robotics engineering student from Lafayette College. He comes from near Lancaster, PA, meaning he’s been in more than one cornfield. In his free time, he enjoys playing games and spending time outdoors. He likes to play his saxophones and is excited to be working on a robotics project. Ben is also part of the Electrical Team subgroup, where he was able to simulate models of our system to fully understand all properties for each component.

Andrew Zuchold
Public Relations Chair

Hailing from the great state of Ohio, Andrew brings his down to earth Midwest energy to the team. When he is not talking about Cleveland he enjoys watching tv/movies, learning random facts about history, going on Zillow, and making travel plans he won't keep. As the Public Relations chair he worked to contact professors within the department for aid. He also worked on all surveys sent out to the student body. As a member of the structures group, Andrew worked to help create the final rendition. His work primarily focused on the wheels and bottom structure. Andrew also aided in the final assembly and construction of the outer shell.

Max Kevelson
Research and Literature Chair

Currently residing somewhere in Florida, Max can be found curling up with a good book on the quad or covered in sawdust in a woodshop. As one of the team's research and literature chair, he's definitely putting one of those hobbies to use and is excited about refining his writing craft. Max is also part of the Electrical Team subgroup, where he researched and purchased parts needed in order to fulfill our functional requirements.

Fayth Wisehart
Team Co-Leader

Fayth is from Westchester, NY and is a co-leader of the team with Ryan. As a Mechanical Engineering and English double major, she is basically the team's human spellcheck. She enjoys a good book, suffering over code for multiple hours, and performing on Lafayette College's Dance Team in her spare time. Fayth is also part of the Tracking Team subgroup, where she researched the software used and integrated it with our robot to work.

Kyle Zurmuhl
Budget Manager

Coming from Warminster, PA, Kyle originally found a passion for engineering in high school when he participated in FRC for three years. Outside of school, Kyle enjoys driving with friends, playing video games, walking in parks, and eating new food. As a Computer Science minor as well as being of the Tracking Team subgroup, Kyle used his experience with coding to help Design Team 6 produce an exciting prototype.
