An important step when starting a project is identifying the problem. This began with the market selection process, which details what consumer market the team is targeting and what characteristics define this group. The segment also discusses how we arrived at this target market.  Arriving at this market segment was influenced by the data that was collected to provide the team’s motivation to address the problem. The last important aspect of problem discovery is considering the impacts that solving this problem will have. We considered how it could effect people both locally and globally as well as the health and environmental impacts of solving this problem.
