The functional decomposition reads from left to right in time. The first step is to use manual manipulation enter the arthroscopic port with the device. From there, the inner end of the tool will be placed at the ACL footprint using the already determined location of the ACLR tunnel. Next the tool will be adjusted to fit the patient based on the size of the patient. After that, the extra articulate end of the device will be placed at a landmark that is also predetermined. Once the two ends of the device are placed, using manual manipulation, the angle on the device will be adjusted. After that, the devices position will be locked in place and the correct position and angle will be marked.
