Pennsylvania Gravity Mapping

Over the last 18 years we have been conducting research projects focusing on the acquisition and interpretation of gravimetergravity data in Pennsylvania. Much of this work has been supported by the Pennsylvania Geological Survey.  Below is a list of the different student theses that have been produced as part of this work:

Duncan M. Thomas, 1993, “Geophysical Modeling of the Structural Relationships between the Precambrian Reading Prong Rocks and the Paleozoic Sedimentary Sequence, Easton Quadrangle, PA
Meghan E. Keohane, 1998, “Gravity Modeling of the Subsurface Structure of the Coffman Hill and Haycock Sheet Diabases, Newark Basin, Pennsylvania
Sarah E. Gately, 2003, “The Correlation of Gravity and Magnetic Anomalies with Structure in East-central Pennsylvania
Amy M. Spooner, 2006, “Gravitational Investigation of the Subsurface Geology of the Newark Basin
Joanna Morabito, 2008, “Investigations of Long-wavelength Gravity Anomalies of Pennsylvania
William D. Hudacek, 2010, “Gravity Anomalies and Subsurface Models of the Reading Prong in Eastern Pennsylvania
