I am an environmental and resource economist with particular interests in feedbacks between economic behavior and ecosystem services. I use non-market valuation methods, integrated assessment models, and experimental methods to explore the dynamic interactions between economic decisions and natural resources. I work on interdisciplinary research projects to examine the trade-offs between agricultural production and water quality, such as designing agricultural policies to promote the adoption of best management practices. I also conduct field and online experiments to use behavioral nudges to promote pro-environmental behavior, such as reducing food waste, improving food security, and fighting deforestation.
