Below is a list of all the Malagasy LIME students who are Lafayette College alumni.
Rebeka
Born and raised in Madagascar, Rebeka graduated from Lycée Andohalo Antananarivo Madagascar in 2011 and graduated from Lafayette College in 2016. She majored in Economics and International Affairs, and was a member of the LIME team that traveled to Madagascar in January 2012. She also studied abroad in Senegal for the spring 2015 semester. Rebeka earned her Master of Development Practice at the University of California, Berkeley in 2018 and is currently working for The 11th Hour Project, an NGO in the Berkeley area.
Prisca
Born and raised in Madagascar, Prisca graduated from Lycée Andohalo Antananarivo Madagascar in 2013 and graduated from Lafayette College in 2017. She majored in Environmental Science, and was a member of the LIME team that traveled to Madagascar in January 2013. After graduation, Prisca returned to Madagascar to work for the MIHARI Network preserving Madagascar’s fisheries. She is currently a graduate student at the University of California, Berkeley, in the Master of Development Practice Program.
Clara
Born and raised in Madagascar, Clara is also a graduate from Lycée Andohalo Antananarivo Madagascar and a graduate from Lafayette College . Clara studied abroad in Namibia and South Africa during the fall 2016 semester, and graduated from Lafayette College in 2018 with a degree in Sociology /Anthropology and International Affairs. She is now a PhD candidate in Sociocultural Anthropology at the University of Arizona.
Donovan
Born and raised in Madagascar, Donovan graduated from Lycée Andohalo Antananarivo Madagascar and also graduated fromLafayette College in May 2019. Donovan earned a degree in Economics and in Mathematics. While at Lafayette, Donovan worked for Lafayette’s Information Technology Services providing support to the help desk. He earned a Masters degree in Economics at Western Michigan University in 2021, and is currently a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Rindra
Born and raised in Madagascar, Rindra is also a graduate of Lycée Andohalo Antananarivo Madagascar and a graduate of Lafayette College. He graduated from Lafayette College in 2020 with a degree in Computer Science and Mathematics-Economics. While at Lafayette, Rindra also worked for Lafayette’s Information Technology Services providing support to the help desk.He currently lives in Washington, DC, and is an Application Developer and Trainer at The World Bank.
Mirana
Born and raised in Antananarivo, Mirana is also a graduate of Lycée Andohalo Antananarivo Madagascar and a graduate of Lafayette College. She graduated from Lafayette College in 2021 with a degree in International Affairs and Government and Law, and now pursuing PhD in Political Science at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Tafita
Tafita was born in Ambositra, about 260 km from Antananarivo the capital of Madagascar. However, his family moved in Antananarivo in the hope of finding a better education for the children. Tafita graduated also graduated from Lycée Andohalo Antananarivo Madagascar and also graduated from Lafayette College in May 2022 with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Tafita studied abroad in Bonn, Germany, in the Spring of 2020. He is now living in Boston, Massachusetts where he is working as a Software Engineer at Akamai Technologies.
