As a life-long lover of math, I received my undergraduate Mathematics BS degree from the University of Portland, before completing my MS and PhD in Applied Mathematics at North Carolina State University under the advisement of Dr. Ralph Smith.
Post-graduation, I spent a year working at the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory before moving back into academia. I got my start in teaching as a visitor at St. Mary’s College of Maryland, and moved to Easton, PA to teach at Lafayette College in 2018.
When not in the classroom, you can find me reading, quilting, hiking, running, playing piano, playing games, dashing off to Michigan or Virginia to visit family, or doting on my two mathematically-inclined felines, Fibonacci and Pascal.
