Conclusion

The time frame of DHSS is incredibly short at just six weeks. Much of that time is spent narrowing the scope of your project, developing research questions, and learning digital tools. I went into this program with the goal of making the most of it and the knowledge that this is just one step in my research journey. Data collection was incredibly limited, code untested, and research questions quite broad (even this website is still a work in progress). However, I am still proud of the steps forward that I made. My passion for this topic remains and I fully intend to return for my senior thesis in the coming year. If anything is clear, it is that there is still so much I can do.

I would like to give a special thank you to Angela Perkins for her support throughout this process and for trusting me with this work. To my DHSS cohort, I am incredibly grateful to have gotten to know you all during this process. Don’t be a stranger 🙂
