Mitt Romney Names Paul Ryan as His Running Mate

In about an hour, Mitt Romney will formally announce Rep. Paul D. Ryan of Wisconsin as his running mate in the 2012 election. Ryan is most notably know for his budget proposal (which has generated some heat from pro-medicare advocates) and for his scathing response to the President’s State of the Union address last January.
