Well, it’s been a great summer break, but with classes starting soon, we felt that we should get back into the swing of things.

Voter ID laws, one of the biggest hot button issues in the political arena right now, could not only limit the voting abilities of minorities and those in urban communities, but of college students as well, reports AP’s Martha Irvine.

“Pennsylvania lawmakers decided to allow “valid” student IDs, meaning they had to have expiration dates” said Irvine. “But most colleges and universities in Pennsylvania didn’t have such dates on their IDs”
