This morning, after being allowed to sleep in, we started the day with a lecture on products of volcanic eruptions. We then went into the field, and (in order) went into a lava tube, visited the Hellesheidi Geothermal Power Station, and finished the dat with a 5.5 mile hike up to Reykjadalur thermal field.
