Jonathan Pursell (Mechanical Engineering)

I am going to work in the defense industry in Philadelphia, PA as a test engineer on the newest class of submarines for the US Navy.

Christian Combi (Mechanical Engineering)

After graduation I will be traveling to Texas to work in the energy sector as a Facilities Engineer. I am also interested in business and entrepreneurship so I may consider attending business school in a few years after gaining valuable experience in the engineering field.

Andrew Scardina (Mechanical Engineering)

After finishing my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, I’m hoping to work in the growing clean technology industry. As someone who has always been interested in energy and the processes that make it, I want to design and innovate ways to make these processes more efficient and sustainable.

Brandon Chuang (Mechanical Engineering)

After graduation, I hope to pursue a career in product design. I’m passionate about CAD and engineering design, so I hope to use these skills at an engineering company in the future. In addition, I plan on moving to the east coast this coming fall.

Marco Olivas (Integrative Engineering)

After completing my degree in Integrative Engineering with a concentration in energy and environment, I’m planning to work in utility scale renewable energy development. I’m passionate about sustainable practices and have a strong desire to contribute to our planet’s clean energy future.

Zara Pahlavi (Mechanical Engineering)

After graduation I am hoping to work in product design and development, including manufacturing.  I am passionate about finding new ways to problem solve and am interested in sustainability in engineering design as well.

Jack Robinson (Mechanical Engineering)

After graduating, I plan on working in the energy and building industry. I am passionate about sustainability regarding energy use. My hope is to work in the general Lehigh Valley area for a Energy/Building/HVAC design company.

Nina Williams (Mechanical Engineering)

I will be completing my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in December of 2023 and this summer will be interning at Human Active Technologies in Easton. I am primarily passionate about engineering design and hope to work in the manufacturing and automation industry post graduation.

Nick Sabella (Mechanical Engineering)

I am pursuing a Masters of Engineering degree in Aerospace Engineering at Cornell University for the 2023-24 academic year. I am interested in the aerospace and space engineering industries, especially rocketry, space exploration, and next-generation aircraft technology.

Lexi Gould (Mechanical Engineering)

After graduating, I will be working as a junior mechanical engineer at Jacobs Engineering, on the mechanical design, including HVAC and plumbing, particularly for US Postal Service Buildings.  I have a particular interest in sustainable design, including designing energy-efficient HVAC and MEP systems, similar to our senior design project, and hope to end up in that field one day.

Rachel Hurley (Integrative Engineering)

I am pursuing a PhD in Civil Engineering at WPI in the Fall of 2023. I am very interested in the indoor environment and how it relates to human health, comfort and environmental justice. I am interested more specifically in how climate change and extreme weather events impact the indoor environment and occupant behaviors.
