The thermal comfort team continued with what they were working on during the alpha prototype.
- We came up with a design for how we were going to control the damper through research of the HVAC industry.
- After selecting our damper design, we determined that we needed to design a damper that is more aerodynamic than off the shelf designs
- Research was conducted on most aerodynamic shapes in air ducts and applied to our air duct constraints
The thermal storage team did not conduct any further concept generation since they developed and analyzed sufficient concepts in the alpha prototype stage. The concepts generated in the alpha prototype stage will be further refined in the “Concept Selection and Refinement” section.
