Unfortunately, our travel plans required that we try to get from Easton to Hawaii right in the middle of a major snowstorm. Even the best plans were thwarted when the flight from Newark to Honolulu was delayed 3 hours. We arrived in Honolulu too late to catch the last flight to Hilo forcing a night at the airport hotel in Honolulu.

Eventually we caught the 7:30 am flight and arrived at the hotel in Hilo around 1:30 am on the 4th…15 hour late. We spent the afternoon catching up on lecture material missed in Easton because of storm travel.
