I am originally from Cali, Colombia. After completing my undergraduate degree at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia in Bogotá, I moved to Denmark to pursue advanced studies in mathematics at the University of Copenhagen. I completed my doctoral dissertation in 2015 under the supervision of Oscar Randal-Williams and Erik Pedersen. Immediately after earning my Ph.D., I held a teaching position at the University of Southern Denmark for two years. Then, from 2017 to 2020, I was a Paul Olum postdoctoral scholar at the University of Oregon. Since the summer of 2020, I’ve been a visiting assistant professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Lafayette College, where I’ve had the opportunity to teach a wide range of courses, including single and multivariable calculus, applied linear algebra, elementary statistics, vector spaces, and complex analysis.

My CV, up to date as of March 2025, is available here.
