  1. First 15 minutes feedback: Hey Jess, feel free to pick and choose what you want to listen to (it’s more of a stream of consciousness)
    – Don’t like text; something cleaner
    – Emily’s part; sound makes it incredible difficult/unpleasant to listen to—any possibility of improving it?
    – Slow down text coming in; would fit better with the tone
    – Good cut on first interview with professor
    – Another person being confused about the definition instead of just Gates/Glynnis
    – Second interview with other professor unnecessary—possibly intercut a few bits with other professor’s definition
    – “To relate something you identify with”—come in at this point on John’s interview
    – Like what the professor says about difference and bracketing and making the imaginative leap
    – “if we didn’t have a world where we work with people” is good but I would cut the part right before it
    – Do you have yourself asking questions? Might be better/more effective than title cards since we can hear you anyways
o No need to reiterate what a sociopath is a second time
    – “Common quality of being human”—might be good for intro
    – Second professor talking about sociopaths unnecessary
o I would like to see more students at this point in the film; too much professor time at beginning
    – “Empathy at heart is also selfish”—great line
    – Avoiding confrontation—please follow by anecdote
    – “We’re also not the best people to judge”—good point, too much words surrounding this point before and after
    – I like would Emily says around 11 minutes; sound slightly better but still hard to watch
    – B-roll of Fabian helping people! He is literally always doing it so it shouldn’t be too hard
    – Fabian’s interview is fantastic

  2. Jess,

You’re film came out great. Partially because I was in it (Looking awful btw, next time not so close on me. lol). Anyway, you cut it down and it had a good flow. I think people really enjoyed it. I know I did. Great job! I’ll miss you, homie!
