Last Saturday night, during the Deep Banana Blackout and Kung Fu Show at the Capitol Theater, the Gathering of the Vibes announced their initial lineup. This year the festival features some major names in the jam band and festival scenes, as well as a couple names who are big in their own right. Widespread Panic, John Fogerty, moe., Umphrey’s McGee, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes, the Disco Biscuts ft. the Grateful Dead’s Bill Kreutzman and Mickey Hart, Keller Williams, and Deep Banana Blackout are just some of the names that have been confirmed for the festival this year, and more will be announced in the coming months.

This is the 19th year for the Gathering of the Vibes, and the tenth time the festival will be held at Seaside Park, the most of any spot to hold the festival.
