Each game has its own representative that is in charge of creating teams, finding and signing up for tournaments, and helping the Board facilitate their own game during on-campus events.
Meet the Reps:
Thomas Stranick is the President of the Lafayette College Esports Club as well as the Overwatch Representative and temporary Rocket League Representative. He is in the Class of 2021 studying Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE). He is the current Overwatch Team Captain and enjoys playing Overwatch, however also branches out to a variety of games that the club enjoys playing. Andrew Bachman is the Secretary for LCE and the Representative for the Lafayette College Hearthstone team. He is in the Class of 2021, double majoring in Electrical Engineering and German. Andrew is also the Resident Advisor for TRAP floor (a special interest housing community) and on the board for Quest, Lafayette's student LGBTQ organization. Besides competitive gaming, Andrew also likes to play Dungeons and Dragons and owns the most expensive keyboard on the esports team. Johnny Pentaleri is the Super Smash Brothers representative for the Lafayette College Esports Club. Having started his career in Smash 7 years ago, and having played every iteration of the game, particularly Super Smash Bros Melee and Ultimate, Johnny is the chief smash tournament organizer at Lafayette College. Outside of smash, Johnny is a senior Mechanical Engineering student and 3-year RA. When not perfecting tech skill, studying matchups, or occasionally studying for classes, Johnny likes to play Dungeons and Dragons, Rainbow 6 Siege, and likes to read Brandon Sanderson’s fantasy novels. Heyo! I'm Zach Freiheiter and I run the Smash Bros. scene at Lafayette College. I am a music major in the class of 2023, and I am also pre-med. I am a member of many of the ensembles at Lafayette College in which I play the trumpet. Frank Ruggierio is the representative for the Lafayette College League of Legends Team. Dillon Singleton is the representative for the Rainbow 6 Siege Team at Lafayette College. Devin Murphy is the representative for CS:GO in LCE, and is looking to make a team in the future. He is in the class of 2021. Jacob Potter is in the Class of 2023 who intends to pursue a degree in Government & Law and English. He is a member of the Marquis Consort, the Renaissance music ensemble on campus, and the Fortnite Representative for LCE. He enjoys competitive multiplayer games like Fortnite and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and unforgiving Metroidvanians like Hollow Knight and Celeste.
