This podcast was really entertaining and made hearing about ethanol interesting. I like how you had two “guests” talk about how ethanol is made and the pros and cons of making it. Great work!
This is a great podcast! It is simple enough to understand, yet still very informative. I like how you incorporated different characters to keep the podcast both interesting and organized. The only criticism I have is that there is an echo during many parts of the podcast. Other than that, the podcast is excellent!
I thought this was great! It was really original and I love how you brought different people into the podcast to speak about the topic. It was a very creative way of keeping the podcast entertaining, but it was still extremely informative and to the point. I also like that you added the image about the podcast. It was a great addition to the discussion on the chemical process of creating ethanol from corn. Awesome work!
I really liked this podcast! The characters were a nice touch, and the vernacular of the farmer was spot on. The image, along with the facts provided in the podcast, was very informative. The information was provided in such a way that someone without a technical background could understand it. Good work!
This was a great podcast. The theme used to convey the information was interesting and kept the podcast intriguing. The way the podcast was scripted was also very effective and methodical, which worked well in describing the process for converting corn to ethanol.
I really liked the detailed diagram that you provided; also the song choice was spot on. I also thought Billy Bob’s deconstruction of the entire process was very clear and thorough, very easy to understand.
Great job! This podcast is creative and I like how you two interviews, one with an engineer and one with a farmer, to give two different perspectives. Having Billy talk in an accent also made it funny to listen to. Very entertaining and informative. Great work!
This was a great podcast which explained how corn ethanol was made and impacts it brings. It demonstrated the specific processes in ethanol making. In addition, the image, appeared in the podcast was very edifying and revealing. This topic, the safe, environmentally and cheap corn energy was also potential and meaningful to study.
I liked this podcast not just because it was creative and funny but brought up good points from two different point of views. The information wasn’t hard to understand and the characters also made it very personable and easy to see where the ethanol comes from and what it is used for.
The ability to combine the humorous aspects of farmer Billy Bob and the song choice with the serious aspects of describing the processes was perfectly balanced. Billy Bob did a great job of comparing and contrasting the two different processes while quite literally “dumbing it down” for the listeners. I was impressed with how simply but fully Dr. Husker explained the policy surrounding ethanol production and the economic repercussions (in particular regarding the government subsidizing ethanol production). Fantastic job!
Great job on the podcast. The diagram was very informative and easy to understand. That was a great idea to include other people to talk about your topic.
Very comical and interesting podcast. I enjoyed how you used two totally different characters to discuss the topics from different viewpoints. The farmer was hilarious and provided funny, yet informative, insight into ethanol production. The only advice I’d give is to either talk into the mic or get a different one because the sound quality wasn’t great at times. Overall, you guys did a great job.
