Call Me Ishmael, Pop-up Edition
I think I loved the pop-up version of Moby Dick the most at the showcase of the Moby Dick and Ellison display of artwork and novel pieces. It was such a simple yet beautiful way to portray many of the great scenes within Moby Dick along including important quotes and conversations with fun quirky jokes mixed within the comics. Before we were allowed to see the art/novels, all I could see from my seat was a boat sitting at the table, and I thought the pop-up book was just a creation of the pequod, when in reality there were many amazing pop-up art pieces that came into vision after you turned to each page. Almost tempting is to see if I can purchase the book myself!
