Peter Pan Reincarnated

I am, and forever will be, a daydreamer. Even though I am writing this two days before I turn twenty, I will always have my head in the clouds and my feet on the ground. I will always be young at heart.

It’s always really easy for me to get lost in my own mind. When I was little it was always the worlds of other authors that I’ve read–the obvious being Harry Potter as well as How to Train Your Dragon. I am actually obsessed with How to Train Your Dragon, both the books and the movies, it’s actually a problem. And I probably should not have put the link of How to Train Your Dragon’s official website because I just got distracted for a solid 20 minutes. But they sell artwork! Look how cute it is! …yeah I definitely have a problem…but if you would like to donate $750 dollars I’d really appreciate it….sorry back to what I was saying before…Screen Shot 2014-12-12 at 1.34.17 PM

Anyway, but now that I’m older, I am starting to create worlds of my own. This results me staring off into space. A lot.

People always tell me to be logical about things. Have dreams and goals that I know that I will achieve. I just don’t see the point in that. If my dreams are logical and if they are definitely achievable, then they aren’t really dreams are they? If I know that my dreams are achievable and that I will probably accomplish them one day then I’m not really living am I?

Go big or go home. That’s what I always say. I want to be a professional photographer and an author. There. I said it…or wrote it rather. Yeah, those dreams might be far reaching. But I’d rather take risks to try to achieve those goals than take steps to achieve safe ones.
