Required Spaces and Equipment

Overall System:

The majority of the designing, modeling, and prototyping of our solution takes place in the construction lab in Leopardworks (Figure 1). Here our team has access to basic measuring tools, work stations, and computers equipped with various engineering softwares such as MATLAB, Inventor, and AutoCAD that aided the modeling of our project.

Our team also required access to the Mechanical Engineering Machine shop, the aid of our technicians, and the 3D Printing Lab.

Compressor	Access to electrical power: 120V, 15 A; Necessary to power compressor.
Heat Exchanger	Thermocouples: Necessary for Data collection and modeling purposes Pressure Transducers: Necessary for Data collection and modeling purposes Access to electrical power: Necessary to power water pump Access to Machine Shop and Soldering Materials: Necessary to attach copper tubing to compressor to optimize heat transfer
Turbine/Expander	Dynamometer: Necessary for Data collection and modeling purposes Access to 3D Printing Lab: Necessary to print s mount for our motor.
