When someone says “Battery” or “Energy Storage”, perhaps the first thing that comes to mind is a lithium ion battery. That was us in the beginning too. As we ideated, designed, built, and tested our Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) with thermal recycle, we came to see that there are indeed other feasible ways to store energy. There are costs and benefits to everything so perhaps CAES could address some of the shortcomings of traditional batteries.
