What is our goal?

Through the Sustainable Solutions course, our goal is to design and execute a musical playground, in the Karl Stirner Arts Trail, for members of the Easton community to enjoy. We aim to create a park that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also sustainable. The park will appeal to the environmental aesthetics of the arts trail, while keeping with the trail’s artistic theme. Only local, durable, and ecofriendly materials will be used to build the park. Therefore, the park will require minimal upkeep and will accent the natural environment of the arts trail.

Timeline

By May 2016, the land of the park will be allocated and the musical fence of the park will be installed. The Sustainable Solutions class of the fall of 2016 will then design and install the remaining attractions of the musical playground.
