Tech News
- Shibboleth Attribute Release Policies – CIS Documentation – Brown University Wiki [read the story]
- Brown does a great job of explaining what information they share (and what information is shareable) via Shibboleth.
- EcoFont
- http://www.ecofont.eu/look_at_ecofont_en.html
- A font designed to conserve ink by including tiny dots in its letters. You can’t see them (at normal font sizes) but using this font could use up to 20% less ink
Help News
- TableTools :: Firefox Add-ons
- https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/263
- Dangerously beta (we’re talking a .2x release) but this is just too cool not to try: it allows you to sort tabular data on a web page AND export that data to CSV. Perfect for anyone who needs to work with unwieldy amounts of web data on a regular (or semi-regular) basis, but can’t get at the source file.
