  • Tech Tip: WordPress Timezones
    • Want to make sure your WordPress times are keeping up with daylight saving time? You can by going logging in and then clicking on the “Settings” link. This brings up an options page; change the timezone from manual offset to “New York”.
    • This is a new option introduced in WordPress 3.0; new sites at Lafayette are created with the New York timezone, but older ones still use the GMT-5 manual offset.

  1. Another very good podcast. Admirable dedication, Ken, coming in on your birthday to record it!

I’m going to stick with Delicious until Yahoo actually tells users that the service is coming to an end. When Yahoo discontinued its online photo service (before acquiring Flickr), it gave users time to migrate their images elsewhere. Saving your Delicious bookmarks elsewhere is a good idea just to be safe, though.
