EVST 400 Capstone

Overview

I teach the capstone every other fall semester. This course is the culmination of the Environmental Science & Studies programs, and emphasizes real projects in our local community. Each year the project is different, but we always have real clients and the goal is always to effect positive change. This semester (2018) our focus is on the restoration of Bushkill Creek and our connection to it, as three dam removals are planned for 2019, including the dam owned by Lafayette behind The Spot. Our clients are Wildlands Conservancy, Karl Stirner Arts Trail, and the College.
