The two paintings pictured (red and blue pieces) are currently in the exhibition ‘Chaos and Awe, Painting for the 21st Century’, at the Frist Museum in Nashville, Tenn. The exhibition is up until Sept. 16, it will then travel to the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk, Virginia, opening November 16 and will be on view until April 28, 2019. The two paintings represent the moment within the collision chamber of the Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Switzerland when the Higgs Boson particle was discovered. The paintings are made with acrylic paint, 3D printing and pigment printouts.
