This prize is intended to reward the most skilled oral defenses of an honors thesis and is not intended to reward the most interesting thesis.  Advisors should nominate students that they feel should be considered for the award.  Winners will be announced at the Honors Convocation or will be recognized in the commencement program.

Nominees will then prepare a video that presents their honors thesis to a lay audience following several criteria that will be available in advance. The prizes will be awarded to up to five students.
