Since the last post, I’ve gained a lot of useful experience volunteering at Lafayette College’s community garden where I also maintain a 20×40′ plot of watermelon, squash, cucumber, vertical bush beans, and cabbage to name a few. Here are some of the photo’s of the garden’s progress:
The exhaust fans have been tripping and as a result there has been a lack of cross ventilation in the greenhouse. The issue appears fixed so I’ve begun seedlings for a fall harvest; This includes a variety of kale, carrots, cabbage, collard greens, spinach, lettuce, and brussels sprouts. There are currently 15 or so bucket gardens dedicated to squash and cucumbers as well as two dedicated towards tomatoes.
