Camera Obscura
The window I started with (my only window).
The window once it was covered.

The window with the lights off.

The view of the window from the outside

close up of the pinhole from the outside. Note the screen over the window.

The view outside through the pinhole.
The reflection that was on my wall.

Close up of the car and area that was projected onto my wall.

My wall in the light with my attempted sketch.

The sketch. Once I realized the screen problem I decided to switch away from sketching.

Playing with different colored cars and different amounts of light being let through the pinhole.
The same red jeep with another car, this time with a smaller pinhole.
Two different cars later in the day, less light was coming through.
The same two cars with a different pinhole size.
The camera projected all the way around my room. Here is the corner of my wall with the projection going around it.

The image on my desk and dresser.

Week 4 Concept Map
Concept Map Week 2
This week I began writing words. I started with the things that I feel to be positive about me or my life and began to work outwards from there. I also started to use a sharpie to highlight the words or phrases that I felt deserved to stand out. A couple of times throughout the process I found myself running into walls and having to remove myself from the room for a while before I could start again. Moving forward from here I want to make progress on the negative side before start to expand more into the positives. I think its important to have a balance of both in my work in order to keep me balanced and focused.
Concept Map Week 1 Update
This is the start to my concept map. I started with name in the middle and a circle around it. I then started it by drawing four lines coming out of my name. The purpose of these lines is to divide the map into different areas. I carefully positioned where the lines were coming out of my name as to signify what each of the quadrants represents to me and how I will eventually expand into them. I am hoping to make the top half of the page a reflection of my positive qualities and things about me that I hold to a high value. The lines coming out of the bottom represent the opposite, things about me that are not positive or that I may not hold to as high of a value. In addition there are two lengths of line coming out of my name for each direct, a long and short one. The short ones will bring in the words closer to my name, these are things that I hold closer to me or am more proud of. The longer lines are the opposite, things that are less valued to me or things about me that I tend to overlook.
